Albert F. Mogerley, owner of Hudson Tank Terminals, passed away on Thursday, December 20th at the age of 88. Al’s family (AFOA members Liam Rogers and Craig Moore) announced the following plans for the celebration of his life: 
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 11:30am at the Westside Presbyterian Church, located at 6 South Monroe Street, Ridgewood, NJ.
Following the service, the family will receive friends at a gathering at the Ridgewood Country Club located at 96 W Midland Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652. All are welcome to join.

Mr. Mogerley is a past president of the AFOA and a leader of the industry for years.  Mr. Mogerley is also an Honorary Director of the Association.
Albert F. Mogerley, 88, of HoHoKus, NJ and Jupiter Island, FL passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Albert was born in Weehawken, NJ August 22, 1930. He resided in Teaneck, NJ and graduated from Teaneck High School. After graduation, Albert entered the U.S Navy and served on the aircraft carrier, USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. Upon discharge from the Navy, he went to work helping his widowed mother run the fledgling business Hudson Tank Terminals.  He soon took the reins and remained on the job for 69 years, still going to the office every day until a few weeks ago. The company employs almost 50 people and is still thriving today in Port Newark, NJ.
 
In 1956 Albert married his sweetheart Dorothy Sherlock. Albert and Dorothy have three daughters, Linda, Laurie and Cheryl who they raised in Hillsdale and Hohokus, NJ. Albert was passionate about his family and his business. He enjoyed golf and skiing and took his family on many cherished vacations. He was an avid sportsman and traveled throughout the world hunting and bird shooting with his friends. Albert and Dorothy’s love of travel took them to many fascinating places around the world.
Albert was involved as a Board Member in many trade associations. The National Institute of Oilseed Products, American Fats and Oils Association, The Independent Liquid Terminals Association and the International Castor Oil Association. He was on the Board of Trustees of Saddle River Day School and North Hudson Hospital.
Albert was a member of Hackensack Golf Club since 1963, Jupiter Hills Club in FL and The Metropolitan Club in NYC.
Albert was predeceased by his father Albert Mogerley, his mother Margaret nee Bell, his brother Gordon and sister Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 62 years, daughters Linda Wurth, Laurie Rogers (Liam) and Cheryl Moore (Craig), 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
The funeral will be held on December 29th at 11:30 am at West Side Presbyterian Church, 6 South Monroe Street, Ridgewood, NJ.
