Important Update from USDA-FAS on Export Sales Reporting

by | Jun 13, 2025 | News | 0 comments

The USDA-Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is excited to announce that the upgrade to the Export Sales Reporting and Maintenance System will soon be available for demonstration, training, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

The new Export Sales Reporting and Query System (ESRQS) introduces enhanced security measures and improved automated data entry features for exporters.  FAS will begin demonstrations, training sessions, and user acceptance testing for exporters who enter weekly data in mid-June 2025.

In addition to a fresh look, exporters will enjoy data entry screens that automate data transfers/entry between several forms, such as the FAS-97 and FAS-100; automate the marketing year changeover process; allow exporters who ship bulk wheat, bulk corn, and bulk sorghum to bulk upload vessel shipment information; allow bulk data entry of the FAS-99 Contract Terms Supporting Export Sales and Foreign Purchases form; and allow export adjustments to be entered directly into ESRQS.

Export Sales Reporting is mandatory; therefore exporters must be prepared to report when the ESRQS system is rolled out. Exporters are expected to attend each of the four ESRQS demonstration modules and training and take part in UAT to ensure a smooth transition to ESRQS—please see the schedule below: Please use the following link https://forms.office.com/g/A62Aqb6ZGH to register for a training course. FAS will be tracking attendance at these sessions to ensure all exporters are prepared for launch day.
