AFOA Annual Meeting—going virtual! One-Day Event
Information and updates on confirmed speakers, agenda, sponsors and delegates will be listed and updated weekly.
In reaction to member feedback and input, and out of an abundance of caution regarding COVID-19, the American Fats and Oils Association (AFOA) Board of Directors made a historic decision yesterday (July 23, 2020) to offer a one-day, virtual annual meeting on Wednesday, October 14th as opposed to its traditional 2-day in person format.
- Approximately 25% of the membership responded to the survey regarding location, format and participation in a fall 2020 annual meeting.
- The majority who responded referenced travel bans and company restrictions that would keep them from being able to attend an in-person meeting this fall.
Recognizing that we have attendees and speakers facing travel restrictions and continuing uncertainty of COVID-19 issues, we are making the AFOA Annual Meeting digital-ready and expanding the meeting’s access. This new format will allow AFOA to offer access to the content at a reduced price which we believe will allow more members and their team members to consume.
- AFOA Member Companies may participate with unlimited attendees.
- Registration fee for members is $150 per attendee.
